Told ya I ***** love Fanball.com (http://www.fanball.com/fb/article.cfm/ID.3814):

Roddy White, Falcons
Height: 6-1
Weight: 201
School: Alabama-Birmingham
Drafted: First Round (Number 27 overall)
Kudos to the Atlanta brain trust for the decision to surround their marquee player with quality receivers. That said, White is still going to have to leapfrog Peerless Price and/or Dez White on the depth chart—an undertaking last year's top pick, Michael Jenkins, could not pull off. Mix in the fact that Ron Mexico completes slightly more than half his passes—on the field, at least—and it's sheer folly to expect fantasy production from White in year one.

That's surprisingly similar to this quote-

"When it comes to the ladies, I have two weapons- my looks, my pick up lines and my money"
- Ron Mexico.

I just want to know when ESPN is going to get their lips off his ****. They still haven't mentioned the whole Ron Mexico thing. If he were any other player...they'd be tearing him apart on the air and in the ESPN articles. So far, nothing. :shakeno:

Just like the show play makers, if the NFL tells ESPN to do something then it will be done. If this was any other athlete this story would be talked about, Rome was the only one with the gulls to do it. NFL wants to protect their poster boy.

I was glad to hear Rome rip on Vick for it. it was great. :snicker:

I agree though. ESPN is afraid that they'll lose their ties to the NFL...the draft, and MNF and they don't want to do anything to jeopardize their relationship.
