With the projected speedy recoveries of Euhus and Campbell, the resinging of Neufeld, and the drafting of Everett he didn't stand much of a chance.

Yeah, I hate to see a guy get thet axe before really trying out for a team, but this will be to his benefit in the end. He has a better chance of making another teams roster.
