I wonder if there is a possible trade for Corey Simon, considering that the eagles were trying to trade him before and they are interested in Henry. And, would it be a straight up trade or would we have to throw in a pick next year?
Any thoughts?

it would be either strait up or we would give them something with travis..... but that would be a SWEET deal. but we cant afford to sign corey to a long term deal which is why he would be traded in the first place

Until I hear trade talks getting hot again, I'm pretty much calling it a bust on the Henry deal.

It would probably be Henry to Philly for Simon and a 3rd rounder. Still, it won't happen.

I doubt they would give us Simon himself let alone him and a third for Henry

How do you know? Being a Dolphins fan, I think what you meant to say was that you don't want it to happen!

The Eagles wouldn't give us a fourth round pick for TH. Why would they trade us a young stud Dlineman for him? And if it was considered why didn't it happen during the draft?

The trade is wishful thinking. The TH trade is dead.

1. Philly pulled Simon off the trade market.
2. You would need to surrender more then just Henry(it has been proved that TD is over estimating Henry's value)
3. Simon would have a huge contract that I don't know if the Bills could give him.
4. The Eagles drafted a RB in round 3, so they really do not need Henry.

Simon would put a major squeeze on our cap

The trade with Baltimore failed because Simon wanted a monster contract. Even if he just plays for us at the franchise tag number, that would be $8 million we don't have.

Maybe after seeing everything they tried to do to get rid of Simon blow up in there faces, they may accept less and his demands may not be so big. Yeah Right!!

Simon costs WAY TOO MUCH, and would want a bigger contract. It'd be great to have him, but we can't really afford him and expect to be able to sign Clements AND McGee next year.

my thoughts too... if we couldn't afford the very average contract Big Pat got.... how would we ever afford Simon???

I doubt Philly would trade Simon after the draft anyways. Who would they replace him with? If he was traded before the draft then Philly could draft someone to replace him.

I never said anything about what Buffalo would have to give up to make the trade for Simon. So get your facts straight, FOOL!
