Screaming Vikings take Grey Ruegamer, C
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

Sorry. I was off the computer for a while.

The Assassins now look to fine tune their defense. They are stunned that this player is still available! They will waste no time in adding him to their defense, as he has the ability to stuff the run and cover the pass well. He solidifies a very solid LB corps for the Assassins. So...

the Erie Assassins select Napoleon Harris, LB with their first pick in the 27th round.

btw, 4 teams own 10 picks in this round...Assasssins have 4 of them.

These descriptions are getting old.... so far every pick you've made has been an incredible steal...... don't get me wrong... it's kind of entertaining.... but This is why I'm glad NFL teams dont get to introduce their own picks in the draft.

Nap Harris is there because he can't play in a system. He's had an injury year, lost his starters job for a while and doesn't produce many turnovers.

He's a descent player. Young, and is moving to a new team that will hopefully help get his game in order..... not a great pas defender as you seem to think. he has 5 PD's in 3 years and no INT's.

Like I say... good pick based on potential and as a backup/developmental guy. But shocking? no.

The Assassins again turn to special teams.

We really wanted to get Brian Moorman to punt for us, seeing that he knows the RICH Stadium winds better than anyone, but he's not available. So, we look for another good punter who knows how to kick well in cold weather conditions. We've found our guy. So...

the Erie Assassins select Brad Maynard, P with their 2nd pick in the 27th round.
