Just a possibility of what next year's draft might look like for Buffalo

As far as I can research, we have a pick in every round next year. Someone tell me if I am wrong.
So here is the list of players that we have lost so far:

I believe that we can only count players that were lost to FA like WIlliams and Jennings that we have not replaced with any new players for their positions. Considering this, we should get a least a third round compensatory pick next year.
We should get at the minimum a fourth round pick eventually in a trade for TH.
If we lose Nate next year, we should tag him and at least get a high second round pick. I hope we can resign him.

This is what next year's draft may look like:

(1) round one pick
(2) round two picks- Possibly the second from Nate...hopefully not!
(2) round three picks-Compensatory pick
(2) round four picks-trade for TH
(1) round five pick
(1) round 6 pick
(1) round seven pick

The biggest possibility scenario might also be a third for TH and a first if we were to tag Nate.

Then it would look like:

(3) round three picks-Compensatory pick & TH

We will probably not receive any compensation picks next year because we have signed more free agents the we have lost. If we do get a compensation pick it will be a 2nd day pick.

Donnelley Prioleau and Bledsoe do not count as FA lost since they were released.

Don't they take into consideration the number of starters lost compared to the type of players that are signed? It seems that we should absolutely get a decent pick if we lost two starters and did not pick up any FA to replace them.

Oh god...I hope that the league compares stats! I would love to know just exactly how they determine compensatory picks.

I believe the NFL also takes into consideration the money you pay for your free agents and the money spent on by other teams on our free agents. We will definitely get compensation.

I'm pretty sure it goes by contract amount etc.. PigPAT & JJ's contracts are huge and our free agents are small potatoes. We will get 2 3rd rounders pending any moves we might still make. This is my understanding of the process.

Any official proof of how the heck comp picks work?

When determining comp picks, only DT Pat Williams and OT Jonas Jennings count in the formula as losses. We have signed QB Holcomb, G Bennie Anderson. I'm not sure if OL Mike Gandy counts because he was released last season and was out of football most of 2004 season, he may not qualify as a true UFA
