Northern exposure

Former Bills LB Gabe Northern was among the visitors at the scrimmage. Northern was the team's second-round draft pick (after WR Eric Moulds) in 1996. He spent four seasons with the Bills before moving on to Minnesota. Northern is now out of football and isn't sure if he'll get another shot.

"I want to play, but no one seems to want me," he said.


Is he still any good? Im sure hed love to come back here - and we could use some LB depth. I dont know anything about him anmore...

His only problem was consistency. Maybe he could come back but I don't see it happening.

Northern looked wicked talented on some plays and just sucked on others. Remeber when he blocked the punt and took it all the way against Miami in Miami on Monday night? Wasted potential.

I was about to say the same thing EE. He would be a great replacement if newman ever went down IMO.

Northern Exposure was a great show and Janine Turner is a hottie!!

Northern never lived up to his potential but I always thought that he was a serviceable player. I wouldn't mind having him back for more depth, especially if Spoon might be gone for the year as some have said.

With Soppn gone we definatly need to add some more depth at LB. Who do we have outside oour starting three that any of us feel comfortable with for any sort of long term. I know Im not sold on Polk or Jones... who else is avaliable?
