I like Levens and Lewis at TEI remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

yeah TD should look at Levens, considering he's from aorund here.

the only names that really jump out at me are Ty Law and Troy Brown, but both of them are old and play positions where we already have depth. We may need to grab one of those TE's since none of ours can walk at the moment.

I think he is consistant enough. And he will offer a different style of running from Willis and Shaud.
Not bad stats last year.

Everett's injury situation--along with that of our other TEs--along with the tightness of the salary cap will probably mean that the team will be very cautious about any signings until they have some idea what their needs are going to be and the T.Henry situation is resolved.
I like C.Lewis, but he's coming off of an injury just like Campbell and Euhus, so he might not be as much of a help as it might appear. M.Rivers would probably come a lot cheaper and wouldn't cost the team as much if their other TEs regain their form and they were to cut him.
Levens name jumped out at me, too, as a possible back-up RB. He probably has as much to offer as, if not more than, G.Hearst at this point, but I don't think that the Bills will look to sign a vet back-up RB until the T.Henry situation is resolved first.
Beyond that, unless there is a June 1st cut that they have had their eye on, I don't think the Bills will want to make a move until they have a chance to see what the guys that they presently have on their roster can do.Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.

Did the Eagles resign Buckhalter? Why Levens over Wheatley?
And why isn't Marcus Price on that list? Just because the Bills, possessing probably the weakest and questionable line in football right now, and one injury away from total disaster didn't want him, doesn't mean he still can't play.Buffalo Only and Always.
