Anyone looking to acquire a Superbowl MVP? He comes with a 2million dollar price tag.

I would like a draft pick.

So, we have to give away a 3rd round rookie pick, plus pay the $2 million for a player that only had 454 yards, 4 TDs and was out for 7 weeks last season with a knee injury? The game would also have him get injured sometime this season too. This is a big risk, IMO.

Thats pretty much how it goes. He has developed very well probably the most talented reciever from that class. Stallworth, Lelie, Reed.... he is a superbowl MVP and a great #2 option. I think I would rather use the space elsewhere. If Branch were to hit FA he would probably command a higher tag as well. I think a 3rd rounder is very reasonable.

I'm in your boat. I'd rather spend the $2 million elsewhere. But thanks anyways.

If you want to go by career #s fine Lelie is better at career #s as well but I'm talking about last year when a WR finally develops (his 3rd year).

54 catches 1084 yards 20.1 yards per catch 7 TDs

Branch's best year

57 catches 803 yards 14.1 yards per catch 3 TDs

Not sure about you but I'll take TDs and yards over catches.

Branch was hurt most of his third year so the comparisson is a bit squewed. There are certain things each reciever does well but I give Branch the edge.

Not sure how you can really. Lelie is a bigger deep threat and TD threat. I guess its all on what you like.. a guy with a bit more catches or a guy can score everytime he touches the ball. Oh and not sure it matters because I think career stats for young players like this are not that important they both had 27 career starts.

Most are going to call me nuts for this but from what I have seen in the Brady/Branch conenctions I just dont feel Brady is that accurate. It seems like Branch has to go out and get a majority of his passes. They are close enough that you can pick a favorite, I like Branch.
