05-11-2005, 09:04 AM
Well, the Super Deuces were looking to fill another hole with this pick but the GM has decided the team can no longer wait on this guy. Considering we already have a backup RB, we still feel this guy can be the RB of the future and when or if he is eventually traded or signs with another team he will be a top 10 back. And at 300K it is sure to make SportUser's Sleeper list IMO.

So, without further adieu, the Super Deuces will select:

Travis Henry RB - Buffalo Bills

It's 11:03... I'm making my pick.

The CRK's add some quality depth and potential by selecting:

# 56 Monty Beisel NE - ILB/OLB

Beisel really showed something last year while filling in for Maslowski in KC's defense. New England was impressed enough to snatch up the young LB as insurance in case Bruschi can't return. They also wanted to get younger at LB with Phifer unsigned and Johnson/Vrabel/Izzo/McGinest not getting any younger.

Biesel can play all the LB spot sand (not in this game it seems) can rush the passer a bit from the DE spot. kind of like a young adalius thomas.

Rochester Rampage is on the clock until 11:30am.

Michael82
05-11-2005, 10:28 AM
After spending a lot of money on our offensive line starters, we felt that we needed to get some young backups with talent just in case. There's one offensive lineman that caught our eye, because he can play both Guard and Offensive Tackle and he's only 24. So, without further adieu, the Rochester Rampage select....

G/OT Jake Scott - Indianapolis

Devin
05-11-2005, 10:28 AM

We were debating on who to pick, but we decided that we needed to add to our DL. We really like this guy as a backup and wouldn't mind it if he had to come in and start too. so, with our first pick of the 36th round, the Rochester Rampage select....

DE John Engelberger - San Fransisco

After consulting with Tom Modrak, I realized that we have gone the whole draft without a player from the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. There is one player that we really noticed last year. He came in for an injured Tom Ashworth and did a great job filling in. He is going to help add some depth to our offensive line and we are glad to have him. So, without further adieu, with our 2nd pick of the 36th round, the Rochester Rampage select....

OT Brandon Gorin - New England

You might have been able to get him in round 46 in this draft.

Canadian'eh!
05-11-2005, 04:50 PM
actually... i changed my pick in the last couple mins... i have 4-5 guys in mind but decided it was time to get my backup QB. I was only stressed because of my current PC problems. I was only worried about getting a pick in period.... wasn't sure who i wanted until now.

you may remember that Drew's sack numbers were far lower last year as the OL got better. I don't want a scambling QB anyway. the game only cares about #'s anyway.

Sorry was buying a dishwasher.

With our first missed pick the outlaws select a 24 year old OLB currently competing for a starting spot already. While a slight reach we feel this upcomming season could be huge for him.

The Outlaws select OLB Demorrio Williams

Devin
05-11-2005, 05:11 PM
With our second missed pick we select another young heavy hitter. At 25 years of age this guy racked up 54 tackles and 3 INT's and should provide solid depth at the S position. A real ball hawk he is constantly making plays around the ball.

Outlaws select Colin Branch, S.

With the Final pick in the 36th round, adding more depth to our already stout secondary the Outlaws scouting department has found another youngster with loads of upside in coming seasons. At 23 years of age he is not only a great KR but he went undrafted. He was picked up by the Eagles and had a great 1st season for them (35+ tackles, INT, FF) with blazing 4.4 speed we feel he will eventually be a starter and a great long term investment.

The Oklahoma Outlaws select Roderick Hood, CB/KR

Devin
