Here is the order and time slots for Rounds 39 & 40. Each pick in these rounds are worth $200K. Remember, you may pass. You do not have to pick in every round. If you miss your time then the next owner will be on the clock. You are still able to pick for that round as long as that round is not over. Once the round is over you lose the pick for that round.

Winborn was a guy we had targeted much earlier and we decided to go with Ayodele instead to pick up Jamie this late is a shocker. And will allow us to breathe easy if we face any injuries to our LBer's.

Director of Player Personnel Phil Savage was the man who brought our next player into the league, and he feels he will be a great addition for 3rd down passing situations and red zone opportunities. His size (6-6, 210) is impressive and he makes good use of it in the red zone, catching 4 TD passes as a rookie. He is still very raw, but should develop nicely w/ this young and talented group of WRs we have. So...

Our next pick has has some unfortunate injuries the past season, but we believe that he'll heal up nicely and become a contributor for the Assassins in the dime package. We have a couple of pretty good, young backup CBs now in Woolfork and Vasher, so this pick doesn't have nearly as much of a risk to it. We also may look to use him down the line at safety because of his size and good tackling ability. So...

Again, the Assassins will address the depth of their defense.

Assassins Defensive Coordinator Al Golden, who served as linebackers coach and defensive coordinator for Al Groh at the University of Virginia (which he will also do in Erie) and has experience coaching the 3-4 scheme, wants to have a stockpile of talent at the LB position. Our next pick was originally slated to be a starter on our original draft "dream sheet" alongside Jonathan Vilma. With the way the draft turned out, we were able to bring in Napoleon Harris to start next to Vilma, but this guy will be a nice backup. He does have some trouble in pass coverage, but is a very good run defender who is also very aggressive, which our LBs need to be in this scheme. We believe he will give us very nice depth inside. So...

switching gears, it seems the debate was not warranted after all. So the CRK's decide to go with the (hopefully) thier other option from before and select:

Adams is 24 and a solid young NT. missed a couple games last year at the end, but played well as a run stopper int he starters role... should do well this year, though we hope he starts to increase his playmaking in terms of sacks and forced fumbles soon.

yes he was...since it is Friday and we usually don't get a lot done on the weekend let the Vikings make a replacement pick. Also, Tampa PM'ed to ask to be allowed to make his pick later tonight. Again, because it is Friday I said no problem.

Once the Vikings and Tampa have made their picks please open up the 41st round...if not we will just start on Monday at 9:00AM. The Vikings can make up the pick from the 40th anytime up until their pick in the 41st.
