Hey i guess he won't ever allow a sack this way. Maybe he can just hold out forever and say he never allowed one.

AWM, don't blame the agents - its the owners' fault. I bet you that isn't Minnie's final offer and a week or two before the opener he'll end up getting a contract close to what he's asking for. How can you blame the players/agents when the owners always end up caving in and giving them the money? If they can get it, why not ask for it.

Mckinnie is a big whiner. I bet he wants MW money. Too BAD! The $$$ drop off significantly once you drop out of the top 5. Thats the facts of life. Take your deal and move on whiner. Man did we make the right decision(Actually TD did)

I beleive if he refuses to sign, he goes into next season's draft.

Bo Jackson refused to sign with Tampa Bay after they screwed with his NCAA Baseball career, went into the next season's draft, and was selected in hte 7th rd by Al Davis

I find it interesting that McKinnie has the same agents as Justin Smith has......51 day holdout.

He is still a rook and has less pure strength to bail him out than big Mike, I think this could really hurt Minny's O line in the first 5 games. He needs some reps, and he ain't gettin them.

If this is the owners fault, then let's hope that the Vikings owner tells him to sit and spin. With the exception of stupid moves like the Ravens just did w/Ray Lewis, veteran player contracts are starting to return to earth. Now what needs to be addressed is the insane money that rookies are being paid.

i agree artic...i think rookies are getting WAY too much..taking away from the veterans....i think rookies should be paid the same for year 1.....
                        Thank you.

Yep... I'm against paying OUTRAGEOUS amounts for POTENTIAL. If they do great.. give them a bonus. Besides.... if their salaries went down a little... maybe ticket prices could go down a little so more of us who don't live across the street could afford to make the trip.

I agree with you cntrygal but that will never happen in our lifetimes. I have never heard of ticket prices going down.
