(May 8, 2005) — If there was one man in the Buffalo Bills locker room you could count on to stand up and speak his mind, it was the man who will become the newest inductee onto the team's Wall of Fame this fall, Thurman Thomas.

The feisty running back was never at a loss for words, particularly when it was time to light a fire under a teammate, joust with the media, or trade barbs with quarterback Jim Kelly as he did in 1989 during the tumultuous year of the Bickering Bills.

Good for Thurm...great guy to put up on the Wall  I've only really followed football since the Super Bowl days and Thurman was one of my two favorite players when I decided to follow the Bills

Thurman deserves it. The best RB in Bills history. Led the NFL in total yards year after year.

We usually only put up 1 a year and there have been other players honored who retired earlier...Kelly, Hull, Ritcher...

Oh, ok. That makes sense then. Even being a Fin Fan I always respected TT, Andre Reed and Jim Kelly
