Reed earns bachelor's degree at 41

Andre Reed, the 16-year NFL receiver who played in four consecutive Super Bowls with the Buffalo Bills, earned a college degree Saturday at age 41.

Reed played four years of football at Kutztown in the early 1980s, but was 10 credits shy of a bachelor's degree when the Bills drafted him.

I hope he gets rewarded for his persistence in seeing it through to get his degree---getting elected to the HOF sounds like a nice reward for him to me!

Good for Andre. Those General Studies degrees open a lot of doors.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I doubt he's depending on his degree to make a living.

                  Good thing.

Actually, Andre is one of my all time favorites, and I'm glad he got his degree, if only for his kids' sake. In his prime, he was one of the best.

there's millions of kids graduating ON TIME in a few weeks.

i could care less about these athletes who think they're doing a great thing by graduating 20 years later.
