The announcement will be...

1. The Bills are moving to Los Angeles.
2. Tom Donahoe is coming out of the closet.
3. Since New England took Flutie, the Bills will one-up them and take back Rob Johnson.
4. Bruce Smith is coming out of retirement and signing a one-year deal.
5. The Bills sign Jerry Rice.

I know what it's gonna be...

They are gonna announce that the Ralph will host two events the weekend of June 3-4th. The first is a showing of the comeback dvd on the jumbotron and the second is a tribute to the History of the Bills video by NFL Films, with current and past Bills players.

I found this off the bb.com message board and it's true because ticketmaster just happens to be selling tickets to both events at 10AM tomorrow morning

This sounds like the last uniform revealing that we had. My guess is that this will be like that last revealing to reveal the new throwback uniforms and the old Bills players will be there helping out.

Wrong. It'll be the cornerstone of the BillsBackers, Jeremy Jacobs, who buys the Bills. I think the pieces are in place. His journey to be a billionaire is about 90% complete. His company is HQ in downtown Buffalo. He lives in East Aurora. It's hard to find a bigger Bills fan. He's pals with Ralph and I honestly think Mr. Wilson will give Buffalo every opportunity to keep the team. The fan base is way too strong to move. And keeping them local is a sure bet to make money for whoever buys them. Lessons need to be learned from expansion teams like Jacksonville.

The fan base being loyal doesn't mean crap in the end. The real money is in luxury boxes and television contracts, and the bills can't or aren't leveraging those opportunities. They're in the bottom 25% of league revenue, meaning they're in the bottom 8 teams. Make no mistake, if Ralph kicks the bucket before there's a team in LA, this team could definitely be on the move.

Since the note on the front page says it is the anouncement of a "major event" you are probably right. Its not going to be any sort of roster move.

The Bills have done a fine job of selling the luxury boxes. It hasn't been easy but part of the deal is that they have to keep those boxes filled and I think they've been totally sold out for the last 8 or 9 years. Wilson's end of the bargain was to put a competitive team on the field and keep them in town. No one can argue that he hasn't tried his best to do that over the last 20 years. As far as the television contracts go, Wilson brought up an interesting point: The Buffalo market consistently out performs most major markets of the NFL. Not by percentage of population, but by the actual number of viewers!!!! There's no question that more money can be made in L.A. There will eventually be a team there and it will probably be within the next 3 years, well before the Bills lease expires. I know Wilson can leave at any time (with a hefty fine) but he's continually emphasized that he will fulfill his obligations as long the city of Buffalo remains loyal.

I wish they would throwOUT the new unis and go back to the ones prior. At least change the ***** awful stripe mismatch on the side of the jersey to the side of the pants. It looks TERRIBLE.

Apparently, we're going to announce a third jersey, probably a throwback type. So it will be kind of a marketing/merchandizing event.

Yeah it sounds like a carnival of some sorts with live music, and the past and present players showing off the new throwback jerseys...I'm going, if only because the proceeds go to a good cause and I get to see the new kicks.
