    BZFL - Round 47 & 48 ($100K) 5/19 - Official Draft Thread!

    Here is the order and time slots for Rounds 47 & 48. Each pick in these rounds are worth $100K. Remember, you may pass. You do not have to pick in every round. If you miss your time then the next owner will be on the clock. You are still able to pick for that round as long as that round is not over. Once the round is over you lose the pick for that round.

                      Im making my pick now, cause we know Mikey aint waking up...


                      With our pick in the 47th round we pick up a guy who we wanted from round 1. I wasnt sure if he would be available come the 100k rounds, but I kept an eye on him the whole time.

                      We select DE Calvin Pace.

                      Calvin is young, unproven and a little rough around the edges but we plan on keeping him for the long haul and think in a few years he will be a premier DE in this league. In very limited action last season Pace was able to pile up 4.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
                      I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
                      "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
                      You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
                      It was all                       true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
                      He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can                       mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
