Here is the order and time slots for Rounds 47 & 48. Each pick in these rounds are worth $100K. Remember, you may pass. You do not have to pick in every round. If you miss your time then the next owner will be on the clock. You are still able to pick for that round as long as that round is not over. Once the round is over you lose the pick for that round.

With our pick in the 47th round we pick up a guy who we wanted from round 1. I wasnt sure if he would be available come the 100k rounds, but I kept an eye on him the whole time.

We select DE Calvin Pace.

Calvin is young, unproven and a little rough around the edges but we plan on keeping him for the long haul and think in a few years he will be a premier DE in this league. In very limited action last season Pace was able to pile up 4.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

Okay, we looked at our roster and were not sure what we needed. We felt that we liked our defense and our HB's, but we needed another FB just in case. So we decided to go with the very young guy who should have been picked up by Buffalo in our opinion. So, with our first 47th rounder, the Rochester Rampage select...

Our next selection is a good veteran long snapper who has had a lengthy career. In addition to being good w/ his deep snaps, he also is a solid blocker w/ good size. He also has the veteran savvy that we're looking for in such a key position. Not to mention, he is a former college teammate of team owner/president R. Rich, giving the Assassins one player from the owner's hometown (SS Bob Sanders) and another from his alma mater, Shippensburg University. So...

With our 48th round pick the Golden Brewsers select another player who we have been eyeing for a while.

With Jerome Bettis most likey exiting after this season, we need to bring another solid backup.

We select Michael Turner RB SD.

Turner is a young back with great talent avg 5.2 ypc, he probably wont see much playing time being behind LT but we feel he is a great option for the future.
