I posted this in another thread but I figure I’ll make my own thread out of it.

Actually it’s very simple,

Buf – GB win, Cin win
Mia – Min lose, NE lose
Den – Oak lose, Ari win
SD – KC win, Sea lose

All 4 teams finish 9-7 tied for the last Wild card. This is because NE, Pit, Ind and Oak win the divisions and Tenn gets the first Wild Card.

We would also need the Jets, Browns, KC and Balt to split their final 2. Not unrealistic.

Under tiebreaker rules for the wild card spot division ties are broken first. We would finish ahead of the Fins because of the tiebreaker and the Chargers would finish ahead of the Broncos because they have a better division record. We would then get the advantage because we beat SD. That’s our best Chance. So Go Vikes.

How about:

SD KC loss, Sea win
KC SD win Oak loss

Seattle will lay down in the last week. I think this will work out for us as well.

If it happens that way, Denver and SD would have the same division record and it would go to the next division tiebreaker, which is record against common opponents. Denver would win that tiebreaker and we would lose out.
