This might seem obsessive or nerdy but I could care less, I enjoy Madden gaming, as I'm sure many others do.

The first link is to the general page for the global features of 06....

this link takes you to explination of the SUPERSTAR mode, which allows you to choose the parents of a kid, watch him grow into a college athlete with certian college game situations, apply for the NFL combine and take the wonderlic test, pick an agent, and become drafted. After being drafted, you can do anything current players can today. Hold press conferences, talk to the media after practice, SKIP practice, complain to your agent about your contract or current status on team........the list goes on guys!!

This sounds soooo awesome. And for you old school guys that will complain that the contract stuff and complaining will help tarnish the minds of kids playing the game, well your right, but all that stuff is part of pro sports! T.O. or Randy Moss can't be censored in real life, so why should it be hidden on a realistic football experience like Madden 06?

I love video games, and that Superstar mode is a sick silly twist indeed.
Personally I wish they'd fix the 40 sec clock to snapping the ball at 1-2 secs left, and fix the franchise mode.

I just wish they would let you organize your own schedule game-by-game when you start a new season. When the comp does it for you it always ends up with like 7 road games in a row or like 3 monday nights in a row. NCAA football and college Bball lets you do it, and there's way more teams to keep track of.

Yeah the franchise needs work. I hate how all i care about is player stats sao they go up in rating opposed to winning. Like if i'm on the goaline i'll try to punch it in with spell HB most likely my rookie instead of McGahee. So if they change the way the players progress or give rewards for winning a game then that would be a better step then picking parents of some kid. <IMO

Wasn't there a glitch last year where the schedule was always the same, or am I thinking of another game?
Also, the Super Bowl site should be alternated. And lose those cloned cheerleaders, thats one of the dumbest things I ever saw.

I would like to see the play clock fixed. the [playoffs need a bigger atmosphere. The superbowl feels like any old game. Maybe the plays where a players knee is down isn't really a fumble.

I expect a great game this year.

I can't wait to pick some foster parents.

however my favorite option in new games is that ull be able to presnap shade a cb to a certain place on field. also i have read that when u play asgt people who run same play over and over trying to abuse an AI flaw in game your players awareness increases as an opponent runs that play many times over a short period. i have been sending a similar suggestion to them for years saying that once a pass play is used 2-3 times it dissapears in order to have people run a variety of plays and force gameplay to be as realistic as possible.

Madden is by far the best game but it still could be dramatically improved.

First, it needs to steal a page from the ESPN series and upgrade the "halftime show". Nix the nasty 3-D cheerleaders and do a highlight reel.

More realistic crowd noise/interaction would be good too. The celebrations suck too. When you win the superbowl you get a couple guys jumping around 5 minutes after the game ends and a couple cheesy fireworks. Big deal. I just won 19 games, give me something to look forward to other than offseason tasks.

I'd like to see the owner/franchise mode expanded too so that it's more challenging. Last year's was good, but it's pretty easy to build a powerhouse franchise rather quickly, as oppossed to MVP Baseball where it takes a few seasons before you're franchise is remotely profitable and you can purchase stadium add ons that actually effect your franchise... in Madden it was like you bought stadium add-on's and they never affected your team and you never even saw them in the stadium.

I wish the player personalities were more realistic too, but maybe the "Superstar" mode will somewhat address that. I'd like to see good players, every now and then, take less money to boost team morale. It seems like every time a player gets better on Madden he holds out/demands more money and it's almost impossible to sign decent free agents without getting ripped off (though I guess that happens in real-life too)... you never see the Patriot-syndrome where some guys will take pay cuts to move into a better organization... it'd make the players and the team structure more realistic.

Yeah, I was a ESPN devotee, but now that the competition has been cut off, I'll be a Madden boy soon enough. Madden 06' looks amazing though. All those features look sweet, like Truck Stick, and SuperStar, and the overhaul of some modes. Super Bowl atmosphere definitley has to be higher.

I love Madden but there are a couple things i would like to see corrected, The replay challege system sucked in 2005. You can't challenge things you could in the ESPN version. In the franchise mode when you draft players the game works to hard to make the players average. When im drafting players say a running back. It will give me 99 speed but acceleration is in the 40's, I just think more balance is needed.

Glad to see they are going to address the blocking issues... that has been a long time coming. How effective/useful it will be remains to be seen, however.
