I think both of those guys are on the Bills' list, but they really need some beef up front and a sack guy off the edge. I have been hearing Bruce Smith might finish his career in Buffalo, but that would be a one-year thing.

That came from a PFW chat transcript on ESPN.com. Normally those guys at PFW are full of it so I would take it with a grain of salt. Although, hopefully he is right on with the Takeo Spikes thing...

Bruce is finished however. He plays well for a 39 year-old, but he's lost at least a step. He counts his "near sacks" down here. It's getting to be ridiculous. He should just let Reggie have the sack record. Reggie did it in fewer games.

We don't want Bruce here however. While it may sound good, he's not playing anything better than average here, and that's on a good day. Ineffective on others. Let him sign for a day and then retire him if he wants. But not for a season.

Bruce can't do it anymore. It would be nice for him to come back and be a Bill for a day again so he can retire as a Bill though. He's always been a mercenary, but it can't be denied he did some great things for our franchise.

I think it would be a great idea to let Bruce finish his career in Buffalo. And I think Bruce would love the chance to play for Buffalo for 1 more year. The Redskins are not going anywhere anytime soon.

I like the idea of Bruce in B-lo for a year. The young guys like Schoebel could learn a lot from him. Look how good Wiley turned out to be after learning from Bruce for a couple of years. He could provide some pass rush in certain situations and helping the young guys develop some technique.
