Im decided to start a trivia thread to help pass some times. I will positively rep whoever gets the answer right. Hope zoners rep the winners to make it more interesting. Here we go.

This year was the first time two running backs were drafted top five from the same school. Ronnie Brown and C. Williams both from Auburn. When was the last time two running backs were taking in the first round from the same school? Who were these backs? and what school did they both attend?

Ding, Ding you were both right, but 1987 was the more recent of the two.

In 1986 seattle drafted John L Williams 15 overall, and neal anderson was taking with the 24th overall pick by chicago.

The Buffalo All-Americans predated the Bisons playing in the AAFC and the NFL from 1920-1923.

I know the name of the other Buffalo team, but will let someone else come up with it so that they can get some rep points, too.

Yes the Rangers is the correct answer. They played the 1926 season. So you see the all the teams that represented Buffalo in order are:

All-Americans ( 1920-23, 1925-1926 ), Bisons ( 1924-25 ), Rangers ( 1926 ), Bisons ( 1927, 1929 ), & Bills ( 1960-Present ).

Thanks to all who tried on this question.

In 1959 it was eight cities lined up to play in the AFL:1) Boston
2) Buffalo
3) Dallas
4) Denver
5) Houston
6) Los Angeles
7) Minnieapolis
8) New York

Set to play in the Fall of 1960, the AFL was stunned earlier in the year when Minnieapolis withdrew to accept an offer to join the NFL as an expansion team in 1961. The AFL responded by choosing Oakland to replace Minnieapolis and inherit Minnieapolis' draft picks. Since no AFL team played in Minnieapolis, it is not considered the original home of the Oakland Raiders.http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/images/icons/icon6.gif
