    Browns DE Brown out for season

    Cleveland Browns DE Courtney Brown was placed on injured reserve, the latest blow to the injury-plagued defensive end who was the first overall pick in the 2000 draft.

    Brown, who has struggled through a season of injuries and ineffective play, will undergo knee surgery on Thursday.

    Coach Butch Davis said that Brown appears to have cartilage damage -- but no ligament damage -- in his left knee.....more


    I remember when he was at Penn State and he was such a force....He's had his moments in Cleveland, but he still has a ways to go before he can show he was worthy of being that #1 overall pick
