Every Bills fan remembers the Super Bowl teams of the 1990s. But not every fan may remember the championship teams of the 1960s - after all, it was 40 years ago. When Buffalo won its first AFL Championship, the country was mourning the loss of President John F. Kennedy and divided over the growing conflict in Vietnam. The Civil Rights movement was gaining momentum. Beatlemania had just started. And current Bills coach Mike Mularkey had just turned three years old.
That doesn't mean the accomplishments of the 1964 and 1965 AFL Championship teams should go unnoticed. At Ralph Wilson Stadium this weekend, both championship eras in Buffalo Bills history will be recognized for their accomplishments...more (http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3204)
