Word from Valhalla Stadium today:

Dr. Pepper and the Norsemen have agreed on a lifetime deal that will make the soda pop maker the official softdrink of all Ebenezer Norsemen related events. In a brief press conference, team owner Ebenezer "welcomed a new era of sponsorhip between football and softdrinks". To usher in the new agreement Dr. Pepper will be made available to all patrons during the Norsemen's uptraining training camp. Ebenezer also stated, "after having drank thousands of cans of Dr. Pepper I had no doubt who I wanted our first sponser to be".

The Norsemen also confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Canadian potato chip maker Humpty Dumpty. The lifetime agreement will also bring HD ketchup flavoured chips into the growing list of specialty items that will be available at all Norsemen home games. "Again, the opportunity to link up with such a fantastic product was an opportunity I could not let slip away", Ebenezer said.

The team also confirms that it is in negotation with Sahlen's brand meat products, Pasquale's Pizzeria and Wegmans Supermarkets regarding cross publicity agreements.

The Rochester Rampage already came to an agreement with Wegmans Supermarkets. They bought naming rights to the stadium and will have their name plastered all over the place.

The official hot dog of the Rampage will be Zweigles.

And our official soft drink supplier will be Pepsi.
