The holidays are supposed to be a season of giving, but the Florida Panthers didn't buy into that on Friday night at HSBC Arena. They certainly weren't about to give up any goals - and didn't as Roberto Luongo earned his 12th career shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Sabres.

Luongo Shuts the Door
Buffalo played six minutes of the second frame a man down. All three penalties called during the period were assessed to the Sabres.
For the second time in its last three games, Buffalo was held off the scoreboard. Last Saturday, the Philadelphia Flyers also blanked the Sabres. In all, Buffalo has been shutout five times this season.
The Sabres are 1-3-1 in their last four with an overall mark of 8-17-5-1.
