All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
He will be released Friday. The Browns agreed to release him after he told them he would refund a $465K Roster Bonus he was paid earlier this offseason.
IMO, the guy is an over-rated stiff, especially as an OT. He is an above-average OG, if he stays healthy. He also has an overly-high opinion of himself, and should have been thanking God he was making as much as Cleveland agreed. The fact is, he wouldn't be playing LT if Cleveland's OL wasn't putrid. He'll sign with someone, for less money than he thinks he is going to get. He'll end up playing RT or OG, and will be injured by mid-season.
The Bills might sniff at him to see what the price is, but I bet they hold off on signing him once they find out what he thinks he is worth. The team that does sign him will regret doing it.
