Holcomb Adjusting to New Team, Home

In a football-crazy town like Cleveland, there must have been times when the dedicated legion of Browns fans thought quarterback Kelly Holcomb was Superman.

Holcomb's record-setting day in early 2003 first comes to mind. In a wild card contest against Pittsburgh, the signal caller had one of the best postseason performances of all-time. Holcomb torched the Pittsburgh Steelers' defense for 429 yards (the third-highest total of all-time) and three touchdowns - but the Browns lost 36-33.

Last season, Holcomb tossed for a regular-season high of 419 yards and five touchdowns in a shootout against the Cincinnati Bengals - although the Browns lost again, 58-48.http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3217

I think a lot of people underestimate our offseason acquisitions, beginning with this guy. He will be a great team player and a very good backup for JP.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
