Here's what we need to happen for the playoffs

San Diego at Kansas City- In this game we have to root on Kansas City. KC plays Oakland next week and San Diego plays Seattle which is an easier game for them to win.

Denver at Oakland- Denver has to lose both of their games or we have no chance. They play Arizona next week which isn't a good sign.

New England at NY Jets- Since the Pats and Phins play next week we have to root on New England to win out and take the division. Jets have to lose at least once.

Cleveland at Baltimore- It doesn't really matter who wins this game as long as they lose next week. Cleveland plays Atlanta next week and Baltimore plays Pittsburgh

If the Titans win this week then they clinch a playoff spot. We have no chance of taking the Colts because of our conference records. We have to hope for them to take the 1st WC spot.

We're in the playoffs if the Bills, Pats, and Raiders win out, along with 2 Denver losses, and a loss by Cleveland and Baltimore, and a win by KC this week. I think the hardest part is gonna be Denver losing to Arizona next week if Oakland beats them this week.

If we would've won the Denver game we'd be in the playoffs by winning our next 2 games. That game is turning out to be the nail in our coffin. We even could've maybe lost to Green Bay this week and still be in the playoffs if we would've beat Denver.

    Thanks for the update.

Henry's fumble that was returned for a Touchdown against Denver even looks more costly now. It may have cost us the playoffs.

If what I just read in another post is true, then we could even get in without Denver losing both games.

That seems odd that you could beat a team head to head and still finish behind them in the playoff race with the same record.

        You guys are die hard.

The best we can do is the 6th seed. AFC win is out. 3 other div. winners. Indy or Tenn. will edge us for 5th WC.

That leaves 6th WC for 7 teams including us and we currently have the worst conference record of all of them.

Let's ease the pain and look forward to next season...

Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

        Then let's go to Disneyworld!

        GO BILLS!!!

It's not that I think it can easily happen, but it's POSSIBLE.

I guess that's what Wade was thinking in 2000 when we were 7-6. If we would've won out we would've been in.

Sure. It's possible that D.C. will get 4 feet of snow this weekend too.

It's not gonna be easy but it's not like there's no chance the scenerio can't happen.

If we win this week you never know what can happen in Week 17. That's why you don't give up.

                  too confusing.
i am thrilled at how much this team has improved this season. The bottom line for me is that, despite our shortcomings, we have improved.

                  {i still hate man boobs, but hey, that's just me.}

wys, you always have to be the bearer of bad news. We know that our chances of making the playoffs are slim to none. You just like to pounce on what little hope we have left. You're so negative . I don't think you're getting anything from Santa This Christmas.

I need some coal! It's gonna be a cold winter.

As to our hopes, I would gather that there's one and only one path through this maze of what's probably 100 different scenarios that would make a PO appearance a possibility and I'm sure it's not at equal odds w/ the others.

Not trying to bring anyone down, just commenting on the obscurity of the matter. I'd just rather not artificially get my hopes up only to be let down yet once again for some bogus reason like not rushing Henry or something that could have been avoided.

Actually, the KC or season opener are more likely suspects than the Denver game

I really think that we can get in if the favorite wins every game except:
                          We must beat GB
Either Denver must lose to Ari or SD must lose to Sea

There might be another one or two but they are close teams (like KC and SD or NE and Mia)
