Hey guys I was just curious in how many of you guys are going to the New Orleans game. And what hotel will you be staying at? I know the Hyatt is right across from the Superdome and thats where I am staying.

we were planning on going but recently had some unexpected expenses, so we're not sure if we're going to make it. I really want to go cuz I've never been to NO.

I'll be there at the holliday inn superdome. I got a ticket in a group with a few hundred other bills fans and from what i hear we control the hotel we are staying at as well (close to 120 rooms booked by bills fans). It should be a blast.

I posted a thread about the Holiday Inn Superdome back in May. We're now up to about 60 rooms booked. So the rate is down to $95 (with $8 per night parking). The best deal in town. It truly will be a "Bills" hotel, and none of the AARP Convention is staying there. So no old fogies complaining about noise. If you can't find the thread, send me a PM.

How much did you pay? ...or how much did they make off you?

TICKETS were only $35.00 each $15.00 delivery charge for as many tickets as you got.
So I dont think he made any $$ off of us....

He charged $38 + Fed Express expense; I thought he did a good job getting that rate. Since I am not positive I will be able to go [whether I can get off work + find hotel + car + plane ticket] I asked if he could keep them there and give them to me at tailgate but he may not be there and thought I was cheap for not ponying up the cost of Fed Express (sponsor of the Redsucks) so I had someone else buy it for me,
If I do not go I might have a ticket available but I am looking to see if I can get off (probably) and if I know anybody going to share a room with.

He only paid $30 a piece for them. But that's not bad. If he would have charged you guys tha actual ticket price ($60.00) plus S/H, then he would have been making real money off of you.

Actually I think I paid less than $38 since I am not getting them directly and I am splitting the cost of the Fed Up charge. But how do you know for sure how much he is paying?

The first group purchase was $30 each. The 2nd group purchase was $35 each (+ cost of Fed Exp). Then the Saints raised ticket prices so anyone calling after that time couldn't get those same prices. Lucky we reacted quickly.

Congrats all. We made enough to reach our $95 a night rate at the Holiday Inn. Looks like that place will be rockin' with Bills fans.
Now we have an emerging problem - the hotel may soon be sold out for Saturday night Oct 1. If you haven't made your reservations yet - I'd suggest you get to it.
