Well, minus a scrimmage vs the Bengals next week, it looks like another Bills Season is in the books.

Positives-

O -Line is miles ahead of last season's. Biggest improvement amongst all units. Should get better with Williams gaining experience.

QB- Even though it fell apart late in the season, again miles ahead of where we were. Drew has shown here and in NE he can get a team into the playoffs with a supporting cast.

Henry- Bust out season! Punnishing runner who can dominate the game at times. Needs to hold onto the ball!

Cap space- Last season of the massive dead cap$$$. Great to see an improvement in the team while paying off Butler's credit card debt of the 90's.

ONE MORE AWESOME BILLS FAN SITE WAS BORN!! BILLSZONE.COM!!

Things we need to Fix-

Defense- Actually improved late in the year. Maybe the 46 is so complicated it takes players a whole year to learn it. Massive turnover in players over 2 years makes that difficult. Plus, we need to add talent that can run it, or scrap it all together.

Special Teams- Again, much improved in the second half. Our return game was great when we could not tackle anybody. When we finally started pinning teams, we could not return. We need consistency. Bruce DeHaven, where are you??

Red Zone. We can get there, but we have issues punching it in. We need better balance.

This team is close, and Tom Donahoe has worked miracles considering the cap issues he was dealt.

Let's get to 8-8 and move forward next season!!!

Forgot another positive-

The receiving corpse re-emerged. Late season miscues by Price aside, it was nice to see Moulds back at the top with a decent signal caller at the helm. Price still neeeds maturity to go with his talent, we will see if it happends here or elsewhere. Reed will be big next season, especially if Price departs.

JR was a big dissapointment. Last offseason was huge as far as FA TE's and TE's in the draft. JR needs to take a serious paycut or he's gone. Not to much of a market ut there in FA for him to succeed in getting another fat contract.

Dozer all I can say to your great breakdown of the season, and what needs to be worked on in the offseason is AMEN. we have to end the season with a win, 3-13 to 8-8, with at least 3 games that should have been Bills wins (Jets, KC, and today against the Packers) Lets beat the crap out of the bungals, and get ready fro what will be a very intresting offseason.

Why haven't we used out Te's in the red zone all year long?

Good question. Moore had some TD's early. I think they preferred to keep them in protection to give Drew more time to pass . Which in retrospect is stupid, becayse in 4 strides the receiver is in the end zone.

TE's are productive in TD catches on the goaline. The Bills for the most part were able to punch it in during the season with Henry from there. (Something like 12 TDs or so)
