but is there any team that has ruined salaries in the NHL more than the St. Louis Blues? The first started the Scott Stevens signing and from there they paid huge salaries, and now they are claiming to have lost 60 million in revenues and the team is up for sale.

Let's not deny Tom Hicks his proper credit in Dallas. That guy gave away the farm to sign some of his overpaid players. Then, for the past few seasons prior the lockout, he was struggling that no one would take Guerin or Turgeon off of his payroll.
Gee, I wonder why no one wants to trade for a $7 mil/year overpaid center like Turgeon?
