For all the posters who think losing peerless price is going to kill our offense next year please respond here. I want to keep a list of names so I can come back next year with I told you so's when Josh Reed has better #'s than PP has with his new team.

HenryRules can be added to the list, with the following caveat.

If we do not replace Reed with a #2 quality receiver (IMO, a dependable 600+ yards and 6+ TDs receiver) than Reed and the new #3 will not approach the 1800 yards and 12 TDs that Price and Reed combined for.

I don't care how JR performs relative to PP, I care how our offense next year performs compared to our offense this year.

Kevin Dyson can be had for far less than Price. Dyson offers special teams ability and is a much better blocker at the WR position than Price. Price is a goner because his $5+ million/season asking price is too much for the Bills to have invested at WR.

Dyson
J. Reed
C. Johnson

Maybe draft a tall(6'4" or more) WR for the endzone and "Hail Mary" plays :)

CP, I agree and Dyson would fit in to what I said as signing a #2 quality receiver. I have no problems letting Price go, I just disagree with people who think if we let him go and don't bring in someone else then our offense won't be missing anything.

Price will make three to four million is my guess. We can match that, especially letting Reimersma go at 2.5.

Price may have cost himself a lot of money by:

1. His childish antics after a first down catch (albeit toned down from the beginning of the year)

2. His pouting over not making the Pro Bowl.

3. His two glaring drops when his team needed him yesterday.

If you were a GM, are you going to pony up $4 mil for Price? I think not.

He and Reed are different receivers. I think Reed could be a great number 2 guy but if they let Price go they better get another burner. Reed can't go downfield like Price. Reed does have better hands though.

WR’s never get much love in Free agency.
