    Jimmy Leonhard

I got to watch Jim come from a walk-on to one of the best players on the team for Wisconsin. He doesn't have good size for a safety, but is a big-time overacheiver. I was wondering what you guys have seen from him so far (if anything...it is early) and if you have any feelings on whether he will/won't make the team. I guess you won't know until TC for sure, but I thought I'd check.

Also, what do you think of LaWaylon Brown? He came to camp last year for the Hawks, but didn't make it out.

He supposedly one of the best UDFAs we signed, and will compete for a backup SS spot.

He's good on ST too, which should help.

That may be tough with Greer and Wire in the mix. He may make the practice squad but unless he is lights out on STs I don't see him making it past TC. Not because he is not a talented player but because the 2 in front of him have more experience in this D.

Wire has done exceptional on special teams but not on D. If this guy can do just as well in ST, he could push Wire out...

Yeah, but we won't hold that against him.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Like we did with Lee Evans.
