All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Mike McCarley, vice president of communications and marketing for NBC, said, “They (NFL) came to us with a flexible scheduling idea. Sunday night was the one night that made sense for us.” Plans are for the network to begin with a 7 p.m. pre-game show followed by an 8:15 kickoff.
Another plus for NBC is that no one, including ESPN, will be able to air any NFL highlights until midnight or after on Sunday. “So people will be tuning into NBC for highlights,” said McCarley.
Will there be any football highlight show by ESPN. Not giving the best in the biz a oppurtunity, and leaving it up to some network that cant even get their booth straight just up and sucks. If the networks do have some highlight show, itll probably be biased to the same ole same ole big market teams showing the suckups they are.
Buy land in AK now. In ten years due to global warming, it will be the new tropical paradise, minus the tropics
So move Primetime up to 6 pm. Actually thats a bad idea too.
I'm surprised ESPN got stiffed like this. They do more for the NFL, high def as well, than any other network. Berman is the most popular football guy out there.

well at least they can still do an NFL primtime show , just not on sunday. Though it does suck not having to see it on sunday like we are used to, ESPN dosent have to lose the show altogether.....right?

Good point. It might just be a combined Primtime/Monday Night Countdown, which is basically what we've seen Mondays, anyway. Berman and Jackson have been doing this way too long to get ko'd by a lousy contract clause. I don't see the point. And of course, no major network news show will air a story about this, for fear of causing bad blood and losing NFL rights.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to send some feedback to the NFL about this.

that really sucks. primetime, though it has sort of gone downhill the last few years, was still a sweet show. Berman is annoying though, I like hearing what Tom Jackson has to say, at least he analyzed instead of giving me headache with a schtick...
all I hope is that NBC doesn't put some lameass like Costas or Enberg on highlight duty... if that's the case, then I'd rather wait til midnight and get highlights from somewhere else.
