John Abraham, NY Jest DE, has a second-degree sprain of his medial collateral ligament (MCL). Doctors say he'll be out for 4-6 weeks, meaning that he might miss the opener against the Bills.
He doesn't agree:
"I'm confident I'll be back before the first game (in Buffalo)," Abraham said. "I'm shooting for the last preseason game or the first game.
IMO, IF he does make it for our first game, he's not likely to be 100%.
