Well boys and girls, glad to be back after a week off.

The LeafBlowers finally was able to put some diastance on the rest of the pack last week, growing their point lead to as much as 13 points over the nearest competition. But after a 13 day run, he has given up the lead to the Dozerdogs.

The reason for the Demise? To many pantywaist New York Rangers! After 4 straight goal scoring games, Baby Huey Eric Lindros has been held to 1 goal and 3 assists in his last 5. Tom Poti has been flushed as well.

Brian Leetch joined Pavel Bure, Mike Richter, and scores of others on the Rangers welfare rolls. He was later cut and replaced with a steal on the waiver wire, Al MacInnis.

Dozerdogs regained the top spot by making some roster moves of their own. Pavel Bure was replaced by assist machine Brad Richards. This week's musical defenseman is The lightning's Dan Boyle. And in a sup[rise move, Dozerdogs waived the struggling Manny Fernandez (2-7-2 in his last 11) With Kevin Weeks. Ironically, Weeks was dealt by the Dozerdogs to Eat My Shorts a month ago for Rod Brind'Amour. Back from the concussion, Weeks registered 2 wins and 1 shutout.

Team Ally......at 33 points she is dead last. She's 33 points behind the 8th place club of the Mean Snakes. She's dead last in 9 of 15 categories tracked. This week she is in the hockey Witness protection program hiding out somewhere in Nebraska. Like anybody will find you there!

What makes this such a volitile race has been the goalscoring category. Berkly Bashers lead the scoring race with 104 goals, DDogs second at 100, and then SpongeBob, Eatmy Shorts, & LeafBlowers all at 94, with 4th & long at 89. Onre team gets a guy with a hat trick and he could move from 6th to 3rd, a 4 point swing.

Another hot Race has been the DDogs and LeafBlowers goaltending duo. Both teams have potent enough scoring that they can afford a 3 goalie rotation. LeafBlowers bring the hot Belfour, Kolzig, and Broduer. The Dozerdogs counter with Turco, Roloson, and now Weeks. They are trading spots daily on game starts (54/53) , wins (27 each), and shutouts (5-4). These guys will be bitter enemies all season long

Bigv trade of the week, Berkly Bashers aquire Brian Rolston for Peter Bondra. Both teams dealing excess for a need. Now if only the commish would get off his fat ass and process this trade so they can use the players before the x-mas break..that would be nice!!
