Between Harrison, Gonzo, LT, and Baltimore's D. JFreeman easily takes the cake as of now....It is tough to gauge the teams with the rookie RB's on them as we have no idea how they will do.

Hell of a job J, nice team

Here's my critiques and rankings...

1. JFreeman
Pros: 5 of 8 starters are arguably #1's
Cons: lack of one-two running combo
Analysis: Besides LT, Gonzalez, Vinatieri, and Baltimore's D which are all considered #1's at their respective positions, Marvin Harrison can be considered the #1 overall reciever as well. 86 Receptions, 15 TD's, and six straight 1,000 yard seasons. Coles reunites with Pennington, bringing back memories of their previous campaign in which LC tallied nearly 1300 receiving yards. Marc Bulger's upgraded line in STL paves the way for him to surpass 4,000 YRD's and 30+ TD's.
Bench: Solid. Dunn will provide 900 yards rushing and 5 TD's at least, but Moulds and Smith are capable of producing as well and can get several spot starts. Eric Johnson flies under the radar playing in SF, tallying nearly 90 balls last year. Indy's defense is a sleeper ranking 3rd (turnovers), 2nd (forced fumbles), and 3rd (sacks) last season. If David Carr's line protects him, he could put up huge numbers.

2. SabreEleven
Pros: Lethal RB's, great depth
Cons: WR's could be hit or miss
Analysis: Tom Brady is Mr. Reliable, you can count on him for at least 3,500 YRD's and 26 TD's. If Holmes stays healthy, he and Dillon will wreak havoc on opponents. Wayne is a solid #1, but can Boldin produce big numbers alongside Fitzgerald this year w/ Kurt Warner tossing him the ball? The Pats defense is as good of a unit there is.
Bench: Deep. Johnson can step in for Holmes at anytime and put up 3 TD's. Henry will probably end up starting somewhere which gives this team 3 top RB's. Kenninson, though not the best WR, can still put up numbers with Trent Green throwing to him.

3. Crisis
Pros: Potent starting lineup
Cons: Questionable bench
Analysis: If Owens decides to stop crying McNabb will have another huge year. Alexander is as good of a back that you will find. Johnson and Fitzgerald is a scary combination, provided Palmer and Warner live up to the hype this season. Eagles DST should rack up a decent amount of points. Should Curtis Martin have a repeat performance of last year this team will finish near the top of the league.
Bench: Questionable. Other than Drew Brees, the bench is in doubt. Blaylock and Davis may not see much playing time which could hurt this team in the event of an injury or during bye-weeks. Lloyd is playing in SF, alongside a rookie QB.

4. Mr. Miyagi
Pros: Studs at key positions, especially WR
Cons: TE and DST
Analysis: Trent Green constantly puts up huge numbers, even w/o the benefit of a #1 receiver other than Gonzalez. Moss and Williams offer a potent one-two WR combo. Jamal Lewis is reliable and Steven Jackson could have a break-out year provided he stays healthy behind an upgraded OL.
Bench: Could improve. Suggs is a less-than-average backup at best and Brown is unproven. If Harrington finds his stride this year he could put up big numbers, but that remains to be seen. He has the talent around him to be successful. Doug Jolley is a solid backup TE.

5. pmacla
Pros: Peyton Manning
Cons: Question marks
Analysis: Manning and Johnson are guarentees... but are McGahee, Williams, and Leile? I venture to say that McGahee is a solid #1 back, but can his OL give him room to run? Williams is a rookie. Will Leile be able to continue his rise in productivity alongside Jerry Rice and Rod Smith? Buffalo's defense will keep him in a lot of games.
Bench: The drafting of Brian Greise at the time seemed like the worst move of the draft among several collegues. Then pmac traded for Manning, demoting BG to the bench. Wise move as he's a solid backup. You can't go wrong with Duckett, Franks, or anybody on his bench for a few spot starts and bye-week fills.

6. philagape
Pros: James, Holt, Palmer
Cons: #2 position guys
Analysis: I think Carson Palmer is due for a superb year, and picking him up was a great move. James will put up big numbers as will Holt. But can Bell and Smith balance those three out consistantly, week after week?
Bench: Better than average. Bennett and Barlow could have decent years in their respective offenses. Burress is 50/50 alongside Manning - he will either have a big year or dissapoint. Solid backup unit in NYJ.

7. Bling
Pros: Dangerous running attack
Cons: WR
Analysis: Mason and Chambers are great talents, but will their QB's allow them to succeed? McMichael is a reliable TE. Another big question mark is whether or not Brett Favre can keep his INT's down behind a depleting OL in order to stay effective.
Bench: Decent. Though Mason and Chambers are better recievers than Driver, it might not be far fetched to see Driver starting quite a bit as he does have a more proven QB to get him the ball. Delhomme can step in and produce should Favre falter. Staley is a good backup, but probably won't see the endzone much.

8.RedEye
Pros: Potential
Cons: Reliablity
Analysis: I hate ranking this team so low because on paper they look halfway decent. I am still not sold on Davis, which is why I rank this team in the lower third. Hopefully he proves myself wrong at the benefit of Red. Barber is solid but will he thrive under Manning's second year and behind that OL? Hasselbeck can put up big numbers but for some reason he always worries me with his inability to put up huge numbers and win in lackluster division. He seems to make too many key mistakes. Horn is the best player on the roster. Crumpler will be reliable but it remains to be seen whether or not Vick can put him in the same class as Gonzalez and Gates. Graham is the most underrated kicker in the NFL
Bench: Shaky. Pennington is a great fix should Hasselbeck prove unstable at the beginning of the season. Jordan could have a big year and might fill in nicely should Davis fail to produce like he did late last year. The three WR's could hurt this team during bye-weeks.

9. LOG
Pros: Great potential
Cons: Can the starters prove themselves
Analysis: I like to call this the team with something to prove. Plummer is always answering his critics and he'll have to do it again this year. Burleson is replacing Randy Moss so he has a lot on his plate. Portis needs to step up if he wants to be regarded as an elite back this season. Jevon Walker brings stability.
Bench: Average. McNair is a great value backup provided he doesn't injure some other part of his body this year. Stokley could be a great spot starter or full time if he has another crazy year. Bennett should thrive as the go-to guy in TN.

10. BAM
Pros: Brooks, Gates, Owens
Cons: Owens
Analysis: If Owens decides to stop crying about how he can't support his family on 49$ Mill then maybe I can see moving this team up. He is such a double-edged sword it's hard for me to value him as a top player on anyone's roster, esp if he's burning bridges with his QB. Brooks is an underrated FANTASY QB who, despite not being able to win, still puts up good fantasy numbers. If Gates has a repeat performance of last year he could keep this team afloat. But, everything hinges on where TO is at on Sept 11th.
Bench: Hit or miss. Will Bettis hold up for another season? Will Manning and Losman pan out as hoped? Can Rogers FINALLY stay healthy? And probably the greatest mystery of all... who IS Keary Colbert?

11. MBBedard
Pros: Culpepper
Cons: Unproven backfield
Analysis: The only reason I would ever rank a Duante Culpepper-lead team this low is because of a depleted backfield. This team falls near that catergory. If Benson and Jones can produce, this team moves way up. If they don't, this team stays right where it is. Hines Ward is good and could have a big year now that Burress is gone.
Bench: Average. Leftwich is good trade bait. He could start on anybody's team, but behind Culpepper the only logical reason for having him on the roster is if the RB's don't pan out and a move needs to be made. Pollard should be the starting TE.

12. Camelcowboy
Pros: Ahman Green, maybe
Cons: Questionable lineup
Analysis: Ahman Green is this teams best player. You be the judge of whether or not that is a good thing. Combine his fumble issues along with a suspect OL in Green Bay and this could spell bad news for Green. Drafting Michael Vick so high was a mistake. If Porter thrives alongside Moss and Evans has a break-out year alongside Losman the WR's could do some damage, but those are huge IF's. Heap is a top tight-end, but will Boller hold him down or help him?
Bench: Frightening. In a bad way. None of the WR's will put up big numbers which will hurt during bye-weeks. Droughns will probably be #3 on Cleveland's depth chart. Vick can win you games in one week, and lose you games the next. LJ Smith is O.K.

I agree freeman about my team. Although I dont see starting Pollard over Clark? I also think Jones will tear it up and Benson will see a ton of goaline carries. No love for the MIN D either?

Pollard will have a big year in that offense now that he's gone from Indy. He will get to showcase his talents.

I had him on 2 of my teams last year, he was effective playing alongside 3 top WR's... he should have a big year being in an offense w/ just 1 key WR.

I think Clark will be a good spot starter. With Manning he's always a threat to rack up big points, but I think Manning will rely on his big 3 for the time being while Clark gets used to the system.

It was hard ranking the teams cuz of so many hit or miss running backs. Any team could hit big or get screwed hardcore... that's why I went w/ Dunn as my 2nd back, I know what I'll get out of him. I have no clue what some of these rookies will do. A team like yours could be very good or suffer big time.

All rankings aside, I think MOST people drafted well with where they were positioned, but some made some very questionable picks IMO.

I voted for myself i need the confidence boost, im going to do my damage in freeagrency

Your analysis of your own team reeks of bias. Marvin Harrison is not "arguably #1" in anyone's ranking. And your bench is nowhere near solid with David "wheres-the-sack-coming-from-this-time" Carr, Marshall "old-man" Faulk, Rod "even-older" Smith, and Eric "mediocre-TE-on-a-terrible-team" Johnson. And Warrick Dunn as your other RB? Good thing receiptions count for points.

there's an objective piece of proof... want me to find some other places that have him ranked #1, or am I just making **** up again?

I never said my RB combo was great, did you read my CONS?? yeah, good thing receptions do count, that's why I picked him up.

I never said my bench was great, but when my starters are on bye's they will do just fine. I'd rather have Faulk (who will split time with your wunderkind Steven Jackson), Moulds, and Smith over Lee Suggs, Darrell Jackson, and David Terrell :lolpoint:

I'm not being "biased"... if I was, I would have said your team sucked, which is doesn't... when my "overrated-sucky-crappy-Miyagi-is-superior-in-everything" team objectively kicks your ass this season it will be funny to watch. Good day.

I only keep bashing your opinions about your own team. Never said your analysis of anyone else's team isn't accurate. It's easy to be objective rating others, but it's much harder to rate yourself.

I too think your team is one of the better teams, but to rank yourself #1 just rubbed me the wrong way, that's all.

If I were to do a write up, I'd scrap the rankings and omit one on my own team.

I understand your point. I figured I would take some backlash for it, that is fine, as long as the points are warranted and explained.

Do a write up yourself if you have the time... I want to see what the other owners would rank the teams. If you think you're team is the best, then by all means put it at #1... I have no problem with it as long as you back your points up. I was not trying to "toot my own horn" I was objective as possible. Maybe the way I wrote up my certain players sounded that way, but I didn't intend it to be taken that way.

I was not trying to say I drafted the 14 best players in the entire league, but after looking at everybody's rosters I truely think that as of right now, on paper, my team is the best... but one stupid injury could knock me all the way down the list...

I was trying to explain why I thought my team was the best... and I tried to explain what I thought the problems were as well, which is why I said my RB's aren't that great aside from LT...

And I almost put Sabres team at #1, I think his team is stacked... I think him, myself, and Crisis are pretty equal, and you are right behind us, it was just a matter of who looked better on paper and why.

Blaylock is my insurance policy if Martin hits the wall! Either way the Jets are going to be a running team!

I think I have two potential sleepers at TE. Davis will get playing time, DeShaun Foster is an injury waiting to happen.

I think my depth at WR is my weak-point, but Bryant is solid IMO. If Lloyd even has a decent year with Smith I think I'm set.

you have a sweet team man. If Martin even has an average year you are set...

I would have loved to take him, but I had him 2 years in a row and he really sucked for me, got me very little points so now I don't even give him the time of day... then last year I passed on him in all my leagues and he had a career year. I was pissed! The two previous years I had him he probably had 1800 yards, then he almost matched that total last year alone.

I was trying to explain why I thought my team was the best... and I tried to explain what I thought the problems were as well, which is why I said my RB's aren't that great aside from LT...

Nah, I don't feel like explaining myself. I like my team the way it is. Could use a stronger D and bigger name TE, but a lot of times big name TEs are nothing but that, just the name. Look at Todd Heap and Shockey. They haven't produced for a long time but we still remember their names.

So critize away at my team. I could care less.

Once Red Eye and I agreed on a trade we drafted knowing we had already agrred on a draft not unlike alot of NBA Drafts doesnt happen too much in the NFL Draft but is common in the NBA

Umm...the whole point of not allowing player trades is that the drafts would be judged on how the teams actually drafted. Uggg. Why? everybody is in love with their team, besides me, and pmacla. So getting a completely unbaised opinion from everyone is tough. Most non-zoners haven't weighed their opinions on this draft. Your telling me you drafted all those running backs because it would help your overall draft. You drafted them for trade leverage. We won't know who drafted the best till we have the a winner at the end of the year.
