HOF chances of the players playing then were. They said Bruce Smith was a shoo-in, Thomas was 50-50, Kelly was a long shot, and Reed was a long long shot.
So what do you think now that Kelly and Levy are in? Bruce is a shoo in, Thomas probably wont be elected in his first year, but he probably eventually will be. Reed is at a disadvantage because he was overshadowed by Rice as the greatest reciever of that era, and Reed had sort of a bad attiude towards the end of his career, and he never got 1,000 receptions, but he should still eventually get in. Talley, Bennett, and others are long shots.
