View Full Version : What should I do?

I have a little problem. My cousin, Cheryl is getting married on Saturday, October 8th. The wedding is in Minnesota and most of my family is going.
The Bills host the Dolphins on Sunday, October 9th. I definitely can't miss that. :shakeno:
What should I do? I originally was thinking that I'd tell her I gotta work, so I can't come. But now after thinking about it, I could fly to Minnesota on Friday out of Buffalo. Leave my car in the parking lot til Sunday. See my family in Minnesota that I haven't seen in a while. And go to the wedding on Saturday. Then take a early morning flight back to Buffalo on Sunday. Drive from the airport to the stadium and tailgate and then go to the game. Is it worth it? Or should I just skip the wedding and send a gift? Or should i skip the Bills game and sell my tickets?
What do you think? :feedback:

take the early flight back...I went to a wedding in 99 in Lancaster, PA the day before a Bills game against the Raiders...took off from there at 2am and made it to my spots in the lot before 10am

If u can do both then u should. You can see all your family and catch the game the next day. This could be the only time your cousin gets married. You really don't wanna miss it if you are close.

Mikey, skip the wedding, and send a gift. All weddings are boring, and they won't remember that you didn't show up, they're too worried about everything else. you're 23, you don't have to go to family functions if you don't want to, especially 10 states away.
Michael82

So, if I go to Minnesota and skip the game...that's a definite No-No?
If it was any other game, i might consider it. But since it is the Dolphins and maybe Ricky's first game...there's no way in hell that I'm missing it.

All weddings are boring but this is family that I haven't seen in a while and she wants me to come. If it was a 2nd cousin or someone who wasn't that close, then i might not care. But if I can work it out to do both. I'm better off.

I only have one cousin that I am close enough to that I would miss a bills game to go to her wedding, and she isn't stupid enough to have her wedding during a Bills game. So there shouldn't be a problem.
His cousin is having her wedding on a Saturday, not during a Bills game. She is also marrying a Vikings fan and their wedding is on the bye week.

I only have about 40 minutes to look here. And this slow assed computer doesn't help either. I can't even have sigs or images on this thing unless I want Phils sig to take five minutes to upload.

Mikey,
I have to say CNTRY is wrong in this case. There is a good chance there will be some at least moderatly good looking girl who is at the wedding who lost her date or is just plain feeling all hormonal because she's at the wedding and doen't know who's going to stick it to her later. You have to go and smell out these chicks and then prey on the drunkest one until she gets all wet and agrees to let you take her to your chosen place of "love". Just don't ask to early!!!!!!!!!!!!! Feel her out (out not up!) until you KNOW she's going to say yes...then go for it! Tell her you have some bubble gum stashed somewhere and you want to share it with her...then when you get her there just kiss her and let go with it.
