    Coach John Levra To Retire

In case you missed it earlier in the year......

After coaching football for 44-years (7 in high school, 14 in college football, 23 in the pros), Bills' defensive line coach John Levra will coach his final game on Sunday, December 29, when Buffalo entertains the Cincinnati Bengals.

Levra began his pro football coaching career in 1980 as a defensive line coach with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian League (CFL). He entered the NFL in 1981 with the New Orleans Saints and has been an NFL assistant coach for 22 consecutive years with five different franchises. He has been the defensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills since 1998 and will retire from the game at the conclusion of the 2002 season.

that really stinks, he was probably the best DL coach in the league.
