Following their blow-out loss to the Rochester Rampage, and their 0-2 start to the season, here's what head coach Tim Krumrie had to say:
Q-- What is up with the offense? 28 points in 2 games?
A--- We've had a major problem running the ball, can't seem to get any momentum, and when we do, we have had several costly turnovers.
Q--- How about your D? You've given up a lot of yardage in the first two games, and a ton of points?
A--- The points aren't as much as a concern as the yardage is. Our D has held many times, but is often faced with a short field due to turnovers. Our 3-4 scheme isn't working as well as planned, you may more of the standard 4-3 next game.
Q--- You've had 2 starting QB's in 2 games, will it be 3 for 3?
A--- Haha, no. Hopefully Mike's benching sent him a message, and he'll bounce back ready to play. Mike Vick is our starting QB, we wanted to see what Aaron Brooks had to offer, and we saw, and weren't impressed.
Q--- How can this team get on the winning track?
A--- This is a young team, with a ton of talent, but the youth also tends to lead to more mental mistakes. We have to over come those, and cut down on our turnovers. Our offense has way too many weapons to be scoring 14 points a game.
