View Full Version : Who will be this year's "sleeper"?

You could understand if Kyle Larson was a little worried at the time.

There the Cincinnati punter was, backed up near his own end zone when Buffalo's Jason Peters broke through the line. Peters, generously listed at 6-feet-4, 328 pounds, had a clear path to the punter before getting his massive left paw on the ball.

The football bounced into the end zone and Peters fell on it to give the Bills the go-ahead touchdown. Buffalo would go on to win the game, 33-17, largely in part to the momentum swing from the blocked punt.

Its times like these (forgive me, Dave Grohl) that show exactly how valuable first-year players are in the NFL in this day and age. Thanks to the salary cap and free agency, roster turnover is greater than ever. And these young guns - like Peters, who signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent - are counted on to make an impact in their rookie seasons.

i think george gause de sc, jon goldsberry fb purdue, and liam ezkiel lb northeastern got a shot. Leonard if someone goes down, prime candidate for the practice squad, as well as tony brown wr tenn

Parrish will be this years sleeper I think he will end up with about 6 or 7 TD's by the end of the year and will be our #3 WR

I think Leonhard has a strong possibility to be a very good player for us as a backup and on special teams.
