Bills interested in Rosevelt Colvin

"The Bills can't pay FA WR Peerless Price the $12.5 bonus fellow WR Eric Moulds got. They need cash to improve their 30th ranked D. At the top of their wish list? Bears sack specialist Rosevelt Colvin, who, with 10.5 sacks through week 15, has 21 sacks the past two seasons..."

Same here. He'd be a cheaper alternative to Takeo Spikes, IMO.

he is a quality player, and would intantly turn our LB core into something to fear, Colvin is a pass rusher, but he lacks any great speed. one thing on this kid is for sure, he dosn't miss tackles.

Colvin plays SLB, Spikes plays WLB, I'd like to see both here

We could move Newman to WLB where he would be more free to rush the passer and start Colvin at SLB

I could just imagine Spikes, Fletcher, and Colvin back there....OUCH.

But we could never afford to pay 3 big salaries to LB's. I'll take Colvin over Spikes because of the cheaper rate. He would do just fine.

I think he's a SS. He's one of the most underrated players in the league. Never gets the recognition he deserves.

I think it is still a little early to be speculating on Free agents but it would be nice to pick him up though....

Newman is not happy here anymore and will be on his way out this year. We will need to get 2 good LBs this year and I think I would rather have Spikes.
