First off ... i think a few people need some more friends ... now moving along ... I don't think OJ should be on this list because everyone thinks he did it. He was proven NOT GUILTY. Now nobody go tripping cuz they know he did it. He technically was found not guilty. And don't give me the civil trial crap either ...

Actually I think Eric Moulds is a deadbeat dad and had some run ins with domestic violence as well. Last I looked, he was on the roster no?
1. "Moulds IS a deadbeat Dad."
I said false because he WAS a piss poor excuse for a dad for a few years. Semantics. I give you this one. Although, according to Eric, he bought the mother a car in 1998 and paid their rent several times. That was part of the reason that the judge suspended the original 90 day jail sentence. Currently, there are no problems with that situation.

2. Domestic violence.
I said false because at no time was he involved in domestic violence. That is a completely false accusation.

on another note, the accusations of assault against those two women were suspect. The "lifting by the neck" was in dispute. since there was no evidence (bruises, etc.) the charges were reduced to harassment. One of those women was his former girlfriend.

Which would be the definition of domestic violence...what is false about it? I can say the circumstances surrounding Randy McMichael's domestic violence cases are suspect at best too, doesn't mean he wasn't involved.

As for the first part, I never said he was still having problems with child support payments. But the fact that he did, makes him a deadbeat dad. Sort of like OJ He probbably isn't murdering anyone right now, but that doesn't change the fact that he is a murderer.

Or Travis Henry, he most likely isn't raping girls at this moment, but he is still a rapist. See what I am getting at?

Besides, relax, this is all in good fun. Can't you take a little ribbing from your team? :nuk: :peace:

You obviously don't know what the definition of domestic violence is. Buy a dictionary with some of those quarters you earned licking goat balls. For it to be domestic violence, he would have had to be living with her at the time. However, not only did they not share a domecile, he dumped her some time before the incident.
Talk smack and have fun....sure. I'm just kicking the s*** back in your direction. Who says I'm not relaxed?....Thank your mom for me.

I guess that makes it alright then. He was so innocent that he plead to a lesser charge. I'm sure he "harassed" these women right after he did some charitable work since he was such a nice guy back then.

QUOTE]

Whoa whoa whoa! Rape? You forgot a word in that sentence. "statutory" That is bull, especially as a man that you would leave that out. He had sex with an underage woman who lied about her age. I am sure all of you ask for ID before getting in a girls pants. As a woman I think it is B.S. that girls can ruin the lives of men like this and get away scott free because they are young. I've had a friend get royally screwed because at 21 he had consensual sex with a 16 year old who lied about her age and none of us had any doubt in our mind that she was 19 like she said she was. Some of you are completely out of control with trying to talk as much smack as possible about the other team that you choose to throw good taste out the window. P.S. OJ WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY!

Never said that. I'm just defending why I said "false" in my first post. It was because his statements weren't true. That's all.

I think it's completely crappy that he went those two years as a millionaire without making sure his son and his baby's momma were absolutely for want of nothing.
The harassment I know very little about....all I know is that it involved an ex girlfriend and her friend. What set him off I don't know.

The thing is that samphin alleged domestic violence which is completely false.

The fins also used their suplemental draft pick to grab Wright who battered a female student.

"When the Dolphins selected Manuel Wright in the supplemental draft last week, they knew about his history. They picked the University of Southern California junior defensive tackle despite his battery conviction against a female college student in 2003. "

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphi...LMORE_0719.html

Same w/ their 7th rd. pick
"Vickerson's signing-bonus leverage could be affected by a past that includes two arrests while at Michigan State, one for driving with a suspended license, the other for possession of marijuana and having an open intoxicant in his vehicle."
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/football/pro/dolphins/sfl-dolphins18jul19,0,2172339.story?coll=sfla-dolphins-front

All these problems will easily be forgotten when they perform on the field. That goes for any team though.

Looks likes Saban loves players who are rough and tough. I'm just hopin it backfires on the fins.

Like somebody said earlier this is a stupid thread which has been touched on before many times. I don't think there is a team in the league where you couldn't find at least 15 guys who have had legal problems over the last 20-25 years. Maybe the person who started the thread shouldn't look at his own team through rose colored glasses when talking smack about another team.

But just to continue the smack the list of Phins with the exception of Mercury Morris, Surtain, and Duper is a bunch of guys who were average to above average players. For the Bills there sure is a lot of legendary Bills on that list with the exception of Jimbo and a few others who aren't on the list.

[QUOTE=Samphin1]Or Travis Henry, he most likely isn't raping girls at this moment, but he is still a rapist. See what I am getting at?

A good tip to avoid this situation is to not have sex with someone you meet at a gas station. Honestly it's hard for men to turn down sex but when you have the ability to make millions of dollars you better make sure you know her age. Your excuses for Travis didn't seem to have much sway with the judge.

As for your P.S. Please.

Thank my mom? I love the immature insults. You know, two ways to know when you are winning an argument on a message board? One side starts attacking the other personally ( as you did ) or one poster starts trashing the other's minor spelling errors, which is even a bigger indicator that one party has lost an argument. Thankfully, you didn't stoop that low.

But, I am a nice guy, so I can thank my mom for ya. Did she help you with your taxes? She help get you a job? Be more specific man!!!

The key word isn't statutory...it is RAPE. I didn't leave it out, I merely blatently omitted it. It doesn't matter. The fact is, Rape is rape. Perhaps Travis should have asked for ID. In fact, I can't think of a better idea then that when you are an athlete with tons of money and a future in front of you. There are so many people coming at these athletes everyday, I know I would be extra cautious.

As for your friend, it sounds unfortunate but I doubt you guys had no reason to think she was less than 19. I mean, did you ask for Id? Unless she provided adequate FALSE info about herself to you and your friends, I doubt you had no reason to suspect that she was under 18. As for me? I have a steady long term girlfriend, no need to ask for ID...just forgiveness :crazed:

P.S. I don't care what the jury says about OJ. The man is a murder in the eyes of everyone but 12 idiots and nonetheless, he is a worthless piece of ***** who beat his wife mulitple times and deserves to rot in hell for eventually killing her.

I think that verdict was more out of fear of the black community in southern California rioting and destroying millions and millions of dollars worth of property.

I just hope that EVERY person who would stoop so low to participate in a riot should OJ have been found guilty would burn in hell.

If OJ had taken the stand as he did in the civil case, he'd have been fried by now

Not making any excuses ... there is a huge difference in rape and statutory rape and your friend obviously doesnt know that. And you can please it all you want he was still found not guilty.

The key word isn't statutory...it is RAPE.

Give me a break one is forcing yourself onto someone that wants no part of it and the other is consensual. It is not rape.

shagnsurf, half these dudes could never get any themselves so they are quick to throw these types of comments around.

if you need any evidence that the above is true look at the way they drool on the female posters.
