George Wilson stands on a precarious stretch of middle ground.
In one direction, he seems agonizingly close to stability as a regular on an NFL roster. Go the other way and welcome to the cold reality of the waiver wire, football’s version of the unemployment line.
Buffalo offered him a twoyear deal, but it’s misleading. Wilson has to make the team to get those two seasons. That won’t be easy given the Bills have two of the NFL’s premier wideouts aboard in Eric Moulds and Lee Evans.
