When he played in the National Football League, former Green Bay Packers receiver Don Beebe was one of the fastest, if not the fastest, player on the field. He was timed at 4.21 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Beebe used his quickness while playing with the Buffalo Bills to catch Leon Lett from behind in Super Bowl XXVII, knocking the ball loose from the show-boating Dallas Cowboys player before he had a chance to cross the goal line for a touchdown during a fumble return.
