To be fair, both those guys have big (franchise) cap numbers and are asking for big $$$ to sign extensions. Both are great players, but their contract situations have a pretty big impact on their trade value.

big payday guys just don't have the impact on the team they go too that they had on their old team.

randy moss and TO might be the exceptions, but these guys are just that, exceptional.

frankly, we have been very very good with our FA guys, we are near the top in that, but we are in the AFC East where NE will over shadow everything
