That's gonna be a great D if they can work well as a unit... they even have very good depth..

they actually did ok in the games he missed...you gotta consider he doesn't give his all on every play...I'd rather have a guy who's 80% the player Moss is but gives 100%

I hope he decides to not 'play' when we go to Oakland this year (and if he does, I hope he makes clements look bad as long as we win - so that he won't get too expensive during the offseason)

They might have had the best offseason, I think they are much better this year even without moss.

I still think they should have picked Mike Williams instead of Williamson though...

i agree completely.. if they can gel.. that should/could be the most talented defenses in the league... even their depth has some serious talent.

That's a damn fine looking defense, and we all know how good Cottrell is.

Anybody know what kind of philosophy they'll use? Emphasize attacking and takeways, vs. read and react? I kind of expect the latter, with the fresh faces. High-risk attacking defenses require more "gel", imo.

They've had some very good players on D for about 2 years now and have yet to put it together, at least not like the Pats, Bills, Ravens, etc. have been able to in that same span. I think their D will actually not quite meet expectations but still be better then anything they've had in a while. I think next season will be the year they really rev it up.

they lack at linebacker, and they have one CB who can't catch and one who can't tackle.

good, will look better than they are in the crappy nfc, but can't touch us.

I agree that they lack at linebacker, but their CB's are solid and their D-line is light years better than ours.
