    Jets Brace For The Unexpected

    In his 12-year NFL career, Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre has little history with the Jets. He has faced them twice.

    The same can't be said for Favre and Jets coach Herman Edwards. Their history includes numerous instances Edwards would rather forget.

    Edwards was an assistant under first-year Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy in 1996 when Favre gave the new Tampa Bay regime a slapping welcome.
