Big Battle Set for Starting DT Job

The Buffalo Bills head into the 2004 season with 10 of its 11 starters returning on the defensive side. However, the one player that will not be back wasn't some insignificant piece of the Bills' No. 2-ranked defense; rather, it was a meaty 6-foot-3, 315-pound piece of the puzzle - and those numbers are generous.

Pat Williams was a force to be reckoned with for much of his eight-year career with the Bills. But now the big guy has gone to Minnesota, where he signed a free agent deal with the Vikings this offseason.

good- hopefully whoever wins the starting job will be motivated by the fact that there's other guys behind them waiting for a chance. The DT position concerns me (although not as much as LT).
