View Full Version : Cookout @ My Place On August 6th

Any Zoners in the area who are interested are welcome to come. I only ask that you bring an item w/ you, such as a side dish, chips, dessert, drinks, or something else we all can enjoy. If you do not wish to provide something, then please donate some cash which can be used to buy us all beer, food, or supplies. I will have some things (hot dogs, chicken, a few burgers), but I'm hoping everyone who shows up will contribute something. That will lessen the costs for me. We'll start around noon and finish up whenever.

If you are interested in coming, please PM me to let me know what you will be bringing. That way, we won't have a bunch of folks bringing the same thing.

Those who are interested and will provide items for the cookout, I'll post them here so that everyone can see. Feel free to let me know what else you'd like to bring, if it isn't listed. The list will be updated as we go.

ITEMS PEOPLE WILL PROVIDE FOR THE COOKOUT:

Burgers - R. Rich (a few; also have some veggie burgers)
Chicken - R. Rich (some, but not a huge amount)
Hot Dogs - R. Rich (we should have plenty)
Beer - G. Host, Darth Takeo
Tortilla chips, mango salsa, guacamole - Dora the Explorer
Pop (it's not soda, dammit!) - OpIv37
Po-Tay-To Chips - Darth Takeo

I think I can make it, but I'll let you know for sure. You should make a list of things that you want us to bring so you dont' get a lot of one thing and not enough of other things. Just a suggestion.

Rich I dont think I can make it but I sent you some ZB's to buy a 30 rack on my behalf.

Just so happens that Mrs. mush and I will be in WV that weekend. By that time she will really be Mrs. mush also, seeing as how we are getting hitched the Saturday before (this coming Sat. yes)

Maybe I can talk her into stopping in. We will already be on the honeymoon for a week so I imagine all the :hump: will be done. If not we just may have to use your Bathroom. :snicker:

Looks like I do not need to work ....
Haven't thought of what to bring besides beer (you never can have enough beer and it is one of the few things on my diet, beer has no cholrestral).

Anybody need a ride from DC area? I was at the previous cookout and I know the way to Rich's.

Listen folks, I don't think the weather is going to cooperate here. We had thunderstorms last night and they're calling for more this whole weekend.

We had them last night too and its supposed to be all weekend. Maybe we should reschedule to next weekend?:idunno: Either way, can someone please let me know what we're doing since I have to leave here by 11am? Also, if someone can PM me Rich's address and phone number I would appreciate it. His number was one that was lost when my phone blew up and I guess I never wrote down his address....my bad. Thanks! I'm all for rescheduling. Can't do much in the rain, unless we wanna just meet somewhere and do another restaurant thing.

I received the message. I called just before checking my answering machine.

Have fun over the summer; I'l be gone to California Wednesday. Schedule has changed slightly and I think I'll have last weekend of August free.
